Day For Truth & Reconciliation

On September 29, 2023, Children's House Montessori School proudly observes Orange Shirt Day, a day of remembrance and reconciliation. This important occasion allows our students to reflect upon the painful legacy of residential schools in Canada and show support for Indigenous communities. Wearing orange shirts, we stand together as a school community to acknowledge the impact of this dark chapter in history and pledge our commitment to understanding, healing, and cultural respect. Through education and empathy, we strive to ensure that the lessons of the past guide us toward a more inclusive and compassionate future.
